Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026.

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using HelpsOnRoad you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. The service

HelpsOnRoad is a marketplace that connects drivers requesting roadside assistance with independent providers. HelpsOnRoad does not itself provide roadside work — the provider you accept is responsible for the services delivered.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate details, keep your credentials secure, and be responsible for activity under your account. Providers must be legally allowed to operate and hold appropriate insurance.

4. Payments and fees

Drivers pay the quoted price shown before accepting a job. Providers pay HelpsOnRoad a platform fee only on completed jobs. Payments are processed by Stripe under their terms.

5. Cancellations

Drivers can cancel a request before a provider is en route without charge. Once a provider is dispatched, cancellation fees may apply. Providers may decline jobs they are not equipped for.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service — no fraud, harassment, impersonation, attempts to break the platform, or use in ways that break the law.

7. Liability

HelpsOnRoad provides the platform "as is". To the extent allowed by law, HelpsOnRoad is not liable for the quality of work performed by a provider, or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Australian Consumer Law.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the new terms.
